The Friends of St Laurence is an informal association of people who would like to help the church sustain and build on its vision to be a church that serves the people of Winslow and helps shape the community spirit that is so valuable to the town.
We started up the Friends to allow the local community to support their church and the work it does, whether they are regular church goers or not.
We do ask Friends to consider donating a regular monthly amount to St Laurence, and we keep in touch with the Friends as well as ensuring they are invited to various events that we hold.
If you are interested in becoming a Friend, please contact George Hooper
Our monthly magazine delivered to your door full of articles, local events and local businesses.
"During this time, I am truly grateful for the flexibility and capacity of our worship team to respond to the Coronavirus pandemic for Worship."
We want our churches to be a safe place for everyone to meet and so we have made changes to our usual practices.
