Welcome to St James
Welcome to St James which is situated at the heart of Great Horwood. The turret on the tower, with its distinctive pointed roof, is a landmark which can be seen for miles.
Dating back to 1340, people have prayed here regularly for nearly 700 years. We are a welcoming community and we would love to see you at our services, cake stalls or simply when you come to visit the church. It is open every between XX and XX.
Our Service times
Parish Eucharist
11am on Sundays
except second Sundays of the month.
A service of holy communion with hymns followed by refreshments. It lasts about an hour.
Come & Praise
11am on second Sundays
A more informal service with hymns and an occasional band. It's followed by refreshments and lasts about 45 minutes .
